The article “Everywhere a Sign” is talking about sign language. Sign language is use all over the world for people who are deaf. Deaf people use sign language to communicate with one another. People who are deaf are not the only one who uses sign language. Others who can hear use sign language to communicate with deaf people. Some people are just born with out hearing. Others come back from the war and cannot here. For those who cannot here they have doctors teach them how use sign language, how to tell stories. A conversation can last up to 20 minutes when you communicating with a deaf person. There are colleges for people who would want to teach other people who can’t hear how to do sign language. Some people have to transport sign language to normal people who do not understand sign language and transport what the other person is saying to the person who cannot hear in sign language. There are also videos that can help people who can’t hear do sign language. I think sign language can be hard to teach to some who cannot hear or understand what you are trying to tell them.

High-Tech Nursing

The article “High-tech Nursing” is about eight year old Michael on how his life was saved by a nurse Donna Musser. Michael had almost died at the age of eight but was saved by a device called automated external defibrillator. Many life’s today are saved by tech tool that doctors or nurses use on there patients. You can tell if a person oxygen level dropped by looking at there nails or lips. People that have long disease are hooked up to a thing called Remodulin. Nurses are not just nurses this they are computer tech. Game technology help nurse provide patient care more easy.

Making Scents

The article “Making Scents” is about making candles and how good they smell. Follis is a lady that makes candle from her experience of science. When perfumes are made they are mixed with all kinds of fruits, bark, and many different kinds of leaves. When making perfume it takes a lot of studying about what to put in it and how it will react to the customer’s skin. When you are finish making a candle you can test it under a light to see how the performance is. Candle makers try to satisfy there customers with there products. Candles have many different kind of fruit smells in there product. Candle making can be when fun you are try to find the smell you are looking to put in your candle. If you are going to have a career in science just do it because classes each in year in college are getting harder. I would like to make my own candle one day but I wouldn’t know what the smell would be like, I would just make it so that it is slippery enough when you put it on a skate rail. I think candle making is based on what you like to smell when it is burning.

Risky Business

The article “Risky Business” is talking about having a summer job can keep teen out of trouble. It also helps them experience the environment health hazards. A summer job can also help you get things you want.

Restaurant jobs

Having outdoor jobs is pretty dangerous you can get dehydration or sunburn. To try to avoid these things from happening drink plenty of water or wear sun block.

Visualization is thinking about something in you head wish some thing you want. Imagination is almost the same thing as visualization I think. Imagination can help figure out what your future is going to be like.
A collage is most telling all about your self or telling your future. When you make a collage ask your self some Question about your likes and dislikes.

The article light, camera, internet hookup is about using internet and cameras to make a movie. You canput movies of yourself on Youtube for other viewers to see. Cheney’s says. Cheney’s had made his first film when he was eight years it lasted eight minutes long. The film was a about his action figures. Now that Cheney is 32 years old he shoots films that about 90 seconds long. You can find budding producers on the internet. The time to start is now investors are always looking for new talent. Cheney now has many of his films posted up on YouTube.

If I were to make a movie I think I would make a film on my skating here in tuba city or in my home town. I would make at least two minutes long. Then post it up on YouTube for others viewers to see. I think making a movie can be hard or easy it depends on what you are filming on. Making a film can also be fun and interesting when you have good actors. I think it is the same with video games but just a little more difficult. Then making regular films.

1. Saying “I can’t.”
Chancing your dreams will not help you get a job. Putting all the effort in school and exploring in new areas will help you decide what you want to do for your career. When your in high school that is the best time to decide what kind of job your going to get or explore what college you want to attend. High school is the best times to try new skills.

2. Getting dollar signs in your eyes.
Getting money is easy to some people to others it is little difficult. People with high paying job don’t mean that they have it easy some jobs are high paying but in a way they can also be very stressful.

3. Doing what your parents expect or what you think they expect.
Parents aren’t satisfied when they want you do something they don’t like. All parents have high expectation for there kids some are not stated just assumed.

4. Assuming a job won’t be useful in building experience.
If some offers you a job you should take to see if you dislike or like it so it will help you decide what not to do for your career. Even if the job has nothing to do with what you want for a job in life.

5. Going it alone.
Asking an adult how the jobs are can help you also decide what to do for a job. If you have a job adult are always there to help or to show you how to do it.
