Up In Arms

The article up in arms is about having teachers carry gun on school grounds for the safety of the children. The school board allowed teachers to have guns. Most of the students disagree for the teachers to be carry guns on school ground. One student says that teachers being allowed to carry guns put the students at more risk. The district can’t afford security guards so they let teachers carry. Some says less than one percent of children who are killed of kidnap are by someone else are attacked at school. Teachers having guns puts up the risk of someone taking it from them and miss using it. Students are arguing that teachers should not have guns because what if a teacher gets mad and knows that he/she knows that they have a gun. Teachers are hired to teach not to act like security guards a student says.
